Tuesday night and finally we are reminded what it’s like to be going into a match with a bit of confidence in the belly.
Hopefully this will be our second win on the bounce at the start of the long run we require.
Could this be the first game in a long time that Chris Hughton doesn’t tinker and will start with an unchanged side.
The worrying thing is that this is another fixture that the world and his wife expect us to win. We are yet again facing opposition from the lower part of the table, who,if they choose to, could decide that this is where they start to fight for their survival.
This will be Blues’ 51st game of the season.
Portsmouth: 
In their last 6 matches they have taken 2 points (lost 4,drew 2 ). In their last 6 home matches they have taken 5 points ( won 1, drew 2). They start the match on the back of a 0-0 home draw against fellow strugglers Bristol City.
BLUES:
Blues in the league have taken 8 points from our last 6 (won 2, drew 2, lost 2).In our last 6 Away games we have taken 11 points ( won 3, drew 2, lost 1). Blues head to Fratton Park on the back of a fantastic 3 – 0 win against fellow promotion chasers Middlesbrough..
The run in to promotion is still very much alive and its hard to understand that after what we consider to be a woeful run we are still sitting 4th in the Championship.
