Paul Tierney has been a referee for around six seasons and has Officiated Blues once, last seaosn in the 2-2 draw with Derby County at St Andrews with yellows for Curtis Davies, Marlon King and Nikola Zigic. A full account of his stats vs Blues can be found on the forum

Last season Tierney was on a one man mission to book everyone he possibly could and amassed 104 yellow cards and 11 sendings off in only 36 games. This season has not seen him calm down much with 30 yellows in 12 games and 2 reds. his penalty count this season is 3.
