Nathan Redmond is celebrating 50 up for Birmingham City.

The winger made his half century of appearances for Blues at Brighton & Hove Albion.

And now he would like to secure many more starts.

Of the 51 games he has featured in to date, 33 have been as a substitute.

“I said during pre-season that I wanted to be heavily involved,” he states.

“I was in the friendlies but the way the season has panned out it has just been experience that has been needed and I have come on and done my part.

“If it means I am coming on for the rest of this season I’m going to have to make sure that I give my all in those 20, 30 minute cameos and try and score and create assists.

“I haven’t really been involved as much as I would have wanted to, but I am still happy to be part of it.

“There’s not many 18-year-olds who can say they have 50 appearances already.

“A few people do forget how young I am. I can remember playing my debut against Rochdale as if it was yesterday.

“So two-and-a-half years on to have got 50 appearances is just incredible.” #bcfc
