LEE Clark knows the sure-fire way to get other managers hanging up on him when they are on the phone.

Just ask about their right-back and … click.

So far this season Blues have used five players in the cursed position.

Stephen Carr, for so long a virtual ever-present, has not even seen action due to a thigh injury, then knee surgery.

Will Packwood and Jonathan Spector stepped into the breach before Paul Caddis was signed on loan from Swindon Town.

In his third game, Caddis dislocated his shoulder – an operation and three months out.

Hayden Mullins was asked to do a job, then it was back to Packwood and Albion’s James Hurst was brought in, also on loan, to boost the options.

“I have had a missed call from West Brom, probably wanting to take James back…’’ joked Clark.

“Chatting with the staff, we’ve used five right-backs this season already. That tells its own story.

“We’ve not used five right-backs because they’re playing poorly, everybody has been doing a good job for us. #bcfc
