LEE Clark is continuing to consider every option after inviting Papa Bouba Diop to train with Blues.

The former Senegal international, 34, is a free agent having left West Ham United in the summer.

His signing, however, is not by any means imminent.

Clark has little room to manoeuvre due to Blues’ financial situation.

And he said that if anything was to come to pass on Diop, or possibly Bilel Mohsni, he would most likely have to move someone else out.

“I obviously know Bouba very well,” said Clark.

“He was my enforcer for a couple of years at Fulham when we played alongside each other in the centre of the pitch.

“He used to do all the kicking and I used to pick up the ball!

“We fully understand the (financial) situation. It’s a scenario I had with Adam Rooney – I sacrificed Adam to bring Paul Caddis in on loan. It was working brilliantly, then Paul gets injured.

“It might be something we look at further down the line.”

“We have got the players here and if they do the business, then we will carry on,” Clark added.

All season Clark has been considering free agents and trialists.

Mohsni, of Southend United, is available on loan but Clark said that nothing was doing there at present. #bcfc
