Preview F.A.Cup 5th round tie

Chelsea V Birmingham City
Could be an intriguing affair with both teams set to rest a few key players with important midweek fixtures in mind .

Andres Villas Boas will be desperate to get a bit of confidence into the players ahead of their trip to Napoli in the Champions League on Tuesday but will find it hard against a well organised Birmingham City defence that as only concede 4 goals in a 13 game unbeaten run.

Chelsea will have John Terry, Soloman Kalou, Didier Drobga ,Ashley Cole and Ramires back in contention for a starting place but manager Boas has hinted that only Ramires is likely to play from that group.
Birmingham City will be resting Marlon King, Nikola Zigic, Guirane N’daw all who still have injuries and will rest a few other players who have played a lot of games and also have a few slight knocks in preparation for the vital re-arranged game at Barnsley on Tuesday.

Chris Hughton will give the chance to a few of the younger players who he says “will benefit from the experience” and give them the chance to impress at the same time .

those included in the squad are Jack Butland , Callum Reilly, Jake Jervis , Akwasi Asante and given a squad number to Belgian under 19 international Brice Ntambwe who is also included in the squad.
Birmingham City manager Chris Hughton said

“I’m not too concerned about making changes because when players have come in before for games such as Bruges and Braga, we have generally given a good account of ourselves.”
Possible Team’s

Chelsea : Turnbull , Luiz , Cahill , Bertrand , Bosingwa , Lampard , Ramires , Meireles , Mata , Sturridge , Torres

Birmingham City : Doyle , Carr , Davies , Caldwell , Murphy , Fahey , Mutch , Redmond , Spector , Rooney , Jervis
