depending on the depths of your Partisan beliefs)

On Saturday, Chris Hughton’s Army will be welcoming Nottingham Forest to the St Andrews fortress.

This will be Blues‘ 45th game of our minimum 60 game season.

Forest:
In their last 6 matches they have taken 4 points ( won 1, drew 1 ). In their last 6 away matches they have also taken 4 points ( won 1, drew 1). But they do come into this game on the back of a 2 – 0 win against fellow strugglers Coventry. I notice in the press that the Captain has had a go at the fans for boo-ing at half time when the score was 0 – 0. Some may say that it was the boo-ing that made them come out and fight in the second half.

Last 8 Matches

BLUES:
Blues in the league have taken 14 points from our last 6 (won 4, drew 2).In the last 6 home games we have also taken 14 ( won 4, drew 2,). Blues are on a run of 15 games unbeaten, let’s hope this can be number 16. Blues come into this fixture on a great 3 – 1 away victory over Barnsley.

This fixture will ride heavily on the mentality of the Forest players and whether they decide to fight for their relegation survival and try to get another 3 points or decide to ‘park the bus’ and see if they can come away with what they will believe to be a deserved point.

The FORUM feels that if Forest can take us to 0-0 at half time then we will win 2 – 0. If Blues get an early goal and Forest have to attack to try to get something out the game, then with Hughton’s fight fire with fire policy, it could be more.

Blues have conceded 1 goal at home in their last 716 minutes of play. ( Blues 2 – 1 Ipswich )

BLUES 3 – Nottingham forest 0
